Thinking about posting an animated image as your advertisement? Or maybe you would like to promote your newest videos from YouTube? You can easily do that by adding an HTML advertisement to your Universal App!
Before we proceed further, check our step-by-step tutorial on how to add an advertisement to your Universal app right here!
Make sure you have copied the HTML embed code from the chosen resources. These resources can be from any platform that provides HTML embed code, such as:
Youtube, by clicking Share > Embed underneath the video.
Giphy GIF, click Embed on the right side of the GIF
Soundcloud, click Share > Embed below the waveform
And much more.
After logging in to your Universal App account, head to Advertisement > Ad Management and filled all the required fields. Choose HTML as your Ad Format and paste the embed code to the HTML box available on Ad Management.
If the HTML code you have uploaded doesn’t seem to show its full layout, check if the width and height are in the code. Delete the number on the width=”any number” or height="any number" from the HTML code and leave it blank, so it will become width=”” or height=”” . You can also replace the number with “100%”, so it will be width=”100%” or height=”100%”
If you prefer to hide the resources of your GIF, you will be able to do so by deleting the last paragraph of the code that consists of the GIF source URLs, which is <p><a href="https://………<a/></p>
Save your changes.
