Your Top Menu should reflect the aesthetics and branding of your publication. This will help you create a better and more pleasant experience for your readers and make your Universal App look more professional and polished.
Here’s how to customize your Top Menu:
Log into your Universal App account.
Go to Branding > Appearance.
Click on the top part of the page to open the settings.
Customize the size, style, color, logo of your Top Menu
For the size, there are three options that you can choose from; Compact (default), Medium, and Tall.
Top Menu Animation can be turned on or off. If it's turned on, for Medium and Tall size, there will be an animation where the size of Top Menu reverts back to Compact once it reaches a certain length of scrolling.
Style refers to the position of your logo, there are two options; left aligned logo with right aligned menu which is the default, and center aligned logo with left aligned menu.
For Top Menu Logo, here are the requirements:
Minimum width x height: 128 x 128px. If you upload smaller size it will look pixelated
Compatible file formats: SVG, PNG, JPG, and JPEG
Shapes: Circle (check how to do it here) or rectangle
Fill in the title and subtitle of your Universal App. This is optional, you can also hide them if you want.
You can also customize what to call your "Collections" page – learn more about it here.
When you’re done, click on Save Changes.
Preview your Universal App to see the update looks like from your reader’s perspective.
You are done! Wasn’t that easy? 🎉
