With Universal App's latest update, optimising your PDF to HTML conversion results for search engines is made easy. The platform now automatically fills in the necessary SEO information, ensuring that your content is discoverable by search engines and attracts a wider audience.
Before we go any further, you will need to import your PDF to HTML in Universal App by following the guide here
After importing your PDF into HTML, Universal App will automatically generate the following for each article:
Article title
Article Slug
If currently there’s an existing article using the same slug, it will add a unique numerical character at the end.Article excerpt
Meta description
Universal App has the ability to automatically create the title and excerpt of your article using the first paragraph of your content. However, it's important to note that there are word limits for both the article excerpt (480 words) and meta description (150 words).
If some of the pages on your content is an advertisement, they will still be detected and show up according to how many words and paragraphs the advertisement have.
It's essential to keep in mind that you still need to manually provide the collection or issue description and publish date for your content. While Universal App can assist with optimising your content for SEO, you have the flexibility to publish it according to your preferences.
