Creating a Reader account in Universal App is a pretty straightforward process, you can simply follow these steps:
Once you're logged in, from the left side menu, go to CRM > Readers:
Click on the Create Reader button shown below:
Fill out all of the required fields, which are the email address and first name of the reader.
You can also choose to enable or disable these options:
Send Email Notification to a Reader: the reader will receive an email informing that they have created an account with your publication
Subscribe to Newsletter: the reader will be subscribed to your Newsletter
Email Confirmed: the reader's account will be confirmed instantly and they won't need to confirm their account anymore (they can log in right away)
Once you've filled out all of the necessary information, you can click the Create button:
That's all! Your reader's account has been successfully created.
If I already have an existing account with MagLoft Mobile Apps, are the Readers synced or separate?
If your Universal App and MagLoft Mobile Apps are under the same email address, then your Readers will be synced between Universal App and MagLoft Mobile Apps!
