Generating Voice for Articles
To generate the voice for an article, navigate to the desired article and locate the TTS option. Click on the Generate button and wait for a few seconds. You can choose which articles you want to enable the TTS feature on.
Token Usage
The Text-to-Speech feature costs 1 token for most articles. However, for longer articles, it may cost 2 tokens. Be sure to check the token requirement before generating the audio to manage your resources effectively.
Customizing Voice Settings
MagLoft offers a variety of voice options to suit different preferences. To customize the voice settings, follow these steps:
Navigate to Global TTS Settings: Go to the "Settings" tab in your MagLoft account, or click the Settings button on the TTS menu.
Select TTS Settings: Under the global TTS settings, you can choose from the available voices. Click on the Play Sample button to listen to how the voice sounds.
Choose Your Preferred Voice: Select the voice that best fits your content and audience. You can experiment with different voices to find the perfect match.
Choose Your Preferred Icon Color: Select the color for the TTS icon that best suits your branding.
Reader's Perspective
From the reader's view, when the TTS feature is enabled for an article, an icon will appear in the bottom right corner. This icon includes a play button, allowing readers to start the audio playback. Readers can also choose the playback speed to suit their listening preference.
Enabling/Disabling TTS: Publishers can enable or disable the TTS feature from the global settings menu. If the article doesn't have any TTS generated, the icon won't appear.
Multiple Voices: If multiple voices are generated for an article, the TTS will play the one chosen in the global settings.
