Overview

The Centralized Collection NavBar is a powerful new feature deployed for the Universal App.

This feature enhances the navigation experience, providing readers with more control and flexibility when accessing articles.

Here's how the NavBar looks and what buttons it has.

  1. Left Arrow: Use this to switch to the previous page.

  2. Table of Content: Use this to access the available pages in your collection.

  3. PDF/HTML Toggle: Use this to toggle between HTML and PDF versions of your collection. (If your collection is PDF/HTML only, this toggle won't appear)

  4. Full-Screen Toggle: Use this to switch to full screen view.

  5. Right Arrow: Use this to switch to the next page.

Things to note about the NavBar:

  1. It will disappear after a few seconds of inactivity, so no need to worry that it will block off some of your content.

  2. You can choose the default version of your collection: whether it will show HTML or PDF first. This requires set up from the back end, so make sure to contact us.

  3. Currently, the NavBar is enabled on Universal App publications that have been migrated to the NextUA technology. If yours hasn't, contact us at support@magloft.com
